Fellowship awards for Professor Anthony Watts

Professor Anthony Watts

Professor Anthony Watts

Following his election as a Fellow of the Biophysical Society last year, Professor Anthony Watts is celebrating further two successes. In November he was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and very recently, as a Fellow of the Institute of Physics.

The awards reflect the multidisciplinary nature of Professor Watts' research. He uses a range of methods and techniques to probe the structure and dynamics of membranes, and pioneered the use of solid-state Nuclear Magnetic Resonance as a tool in structural biology studies.
