Dr Angelika Feldmann

Dr Angelika Feldmann

Dr Angelika Feldmann has been awarded a prestigious Sir Henry Wellcome Postdoctoral Fellowship.  Angelika completed her PhD in the laboratory of Prof. Dirk Schübeler, Basel, Switzerland and joined Rob Klose’s lab as a postdoctoral scientist in 2014.

This fellowship provides a unique opportunity for promising newly qualified postdoctoral researchers to make an early start in developing their independent research careers.  Angelika will work with Rob Klose, Chris Ponting, Jim Hughes and Wendy Bickmore to study how chromatin modifications at distinct promoter classes coordinate gene expression in vertebrates.
