DPhil student wins Etter Student Award at American Crystallographic Association Annual meeting

Charlie Bury (second year DPhil student, Garman group) won the Etter Student Award from the Light Source Special Interest Group of the ACA in Denver on 26th July 2016. He delivered a lecture entitled ‘RIDL: A tool to track MX specific radiation damage’ to a session of radiation damage in macromolecular crystallography, and received his award (a plaque, a cheque, and a free registration for next year’s ACA meeting in New Orleans) from Dr Gerd Rosenbaum from the University of Georgia and the Advanced Light Source in Chicago.
