Department Awarded Athena Swan Silver Status

We are delighted to announce that the Department of Biochemistry has been granted an Athena SWAN Silver Award in the October 2015 round.

The Silver Award is a tremendous achievement and reflects the enthusiasm and hard work of the SAT team and of the whole Department, and recognises our ongoing commitment to equality and diversity.

The Department of Biochemistry is one of nine departments in the Medical Sciences Division who were awarded a Silver Award in the latest round. This is from a total of 24 departments across the country who received or retained a Silver Award.
