Can the Department supply large amounts of network storage space?

IT Support have a disc array intended to meet the ever increasing storage needs of the Department. This array can accommodate nearly 5 TB (5000 GB) of raw disc space.

How do I purchase the space?

Space can be purchased by submitting an IT Job Request, indicating how many 50 GB blocks you would like, and giving the grant you wish the cost to be charged to. No setup time is charged, and the space should be made available to you within a few days, probably within 24 hours. However, if you believe you will need to purchase a substantial amount of space (say, more than 200 GB), please try to give at least two weeks notice.
