Graduate Poster Symposium and student highlights
Final year DPhil students celebrated their achievements at the annual departmental Graduate Poster Symposium on Wednesday 20 May.
Twenty-eight posters were on show at the event, which attracted many departmental members.
Head of Department Mark Sansom reminded students that they are the lifeblood of research in the department. He encouraged attendees to read about the high quality and diverse range of projects being undertaken in the department.
Matteo Aldeghi (Biggin lab), Alexander Davidson (Davis lab) and Clinton Lau (Higgins lab) won the judges' choice prizes and Naomi Petela (Nasmyth lab) was the people's choice prize-winner.
The symposium was organised by the graduate advisors. Sponsors Roche and Life Technologies provided lunch and the poster prizes were donated by Raymond Dwek in the department.
