Graduate Poster Symposium 2013
Final year graduate students had an opportunity to present their research to members of the department at the Annual Graduate Poster Symposium. Around 30 third and fourth year students presented posters at the event on May 1 in the New Biochemistry building.
The posters illustrated the breadth of research carried out in the department and the collaborative environment that many students have benefitted from during their studies.
Professor Mark Sansom introduced the symposium, reminding students of the central role they play in the department and the huge contribution they make to research activities there.
A range of corporate sponsors generously contributed to the event and to the prizes for best poster, most innovative research, and best poster as voted by students. These were won by Anca Farcas (Klose lab), Daniel Grabarczyk (Berks lab) and Sarah Dixon (Nasmyth lab) respectively.
