Erasmus Placements & Traineeships
If your home university has an Erasmus Charter, then you may be eligible to undertake work or training through
an Erasmus traineeship at the University of Oxford. More information available on:
Biochemistry Erasmus traineeships must be organised through our
department which will sign all paperwork and be responsible for you
throughout your stay. It is important to note that traineeship students
will not have a college place and would not be registered as a student
at the University.

If you wish to undertake your traineeship at the Department of Biochemistry, please go through the following steps:
Contact a potential supervisor on your chosen research area , giving your personal details, academic transcripts,
c.v., confirmation of your ERASMUS placement funding, proposed dates of stay, and any other relevant information
(in particular, if you need to write a thesis which will be examined, from your time in Oxford).
If your application is accepted by a supervisor in the department, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
and email@example.com, giving the name of the supervisor who has accepted you, and your cv,
and your nationality and proposed visa status, if needed.
Please note that you will be responsible for making your own visa arrangements.
