Oxford welcomes Biomedical Picture of the Day (BPoD)

Biomedical Picture of the Day (BPoD) is an online science engagement project that showcases beautiful and intriguing scientific images and their accompanying stories. It has shared research images every single day for more than 12 years creating an exceptional archive that reflects scientific endeavour and progress https://bpod.org.uk/

As part of an exciting new partnership with Leica Microsystems, BPoD and the Biochemistry Department will add one thousand more research images, videos and stories to this over the next three years. A dedicated group of professional BPoD writers are ‘on hand’ to provide bespoke mentoring to help our students and staff in communicating the importance of the science they do.

To contribute your research image to BPoD, just send us your image and accompanying text by completing the form at https://www.bioch.ox.ac.uk/BPoD using your Oxford SSO credentials to sign in.
