The award recognises the outstanding achievement of Linzy (Ye) Zhao
The Department of Biochemistry at Oxford is celebrating student Linzy (Ye) Zhao attaining the highest percentage of her cohort in her Biochemistry degree. As a result, Linzy has been awarded the Royal Society of Biology Top Student Award, with a prize of a certificate and one year’s free associate membership of the RSB.

Mark Roberts, Associate Professor of Biochemical Education and Associate Director of Teaching and Learning at the Department of Biochemistry at Oxford, says: ‘Linzy has performed at the highest level and thoroughly deserves this highly-regarded prize. It has been a pleasure to see how Linzy’s knowledge and skills have flourished over the course of her undergraduate degree. We are delighted to award her the Royal Society of Biology prize.’
