"The Bacterial World" at the Oxford Natural History Museum

An exhibition "The Bacterial World" opens at the Oxford Natural History Museum this Friday and runs until May. It is curated by Judy Armitage with lots of input from Kevin Foster and lots of other bacteriologists around the University.
The exhibition aims to illustrate the essential role of bacteria in the development of our planet and in our current and future wellbeing, while also casting a spotlight on their private lives-from warfare to sex.
This Friday night, 19th, there is a special late "Uncultured" night (7-9) where you can eat fermented food, print, play games, hear musical performances and even knit a bacterium -all under a giant inflated E. coli.
