We were thrilled to recognise the work of biochemistry undergraduate student Ismay Forsyth with a Biochemical Society Undergraduate Recognition Award.

She was awarded this for her research project and contributions to her research field. Her 4th year project was Diamond Light Source where she furthered the analysis of anomalous signal at long wavelengths to improve crystallography and thus our understanding of the 3D shape of proteins.
