Structure and Assembly of an antibacterial speargun: the Type VI secretion system

After graduating in the laboratory of Roland Lloubès in 2002, Eric moved to Houston (Texas) to Pete Christie’s lab where he discovered the world of bacterial secretion systems. On returning to Marseille, he launched the team looking at Type VI secretion. He spends most of his spare time playing violin, listening to opera, barocco violin and Glass’s Einstein on the beach, hiking to find wild orchids or kayaking or rowing in the Calanques.
