Patching

Select the Start button, and then go to Settings   > Update & Security   > Windows Update
Then click the “Check for updates” button (marked in green below). Do NOT click “Check online for updates from Microsoft Update” as this will download additional patches.
 

After checking for updates, Windows will probably then start downloading any available patches straightaway. Once this is complete your screen should look similar to this. Click Install Now
 

Once this process is complete you'll probably be prompted to Restart Now. It is important to do this as any patches still listed will not be applied until the PC has been restarted, so you may still be vulnerable. Click the Restart Now button to proceed.
 

After the PC has restarted, you can log in as normal. It is recommended that you visit Windows Update again to make sure no further patches are offered.
